Mr. Paul Cole’s early career started as a Trainee Accountant, with a firm of Chartered Accountants in London, UK. He qualified as an auditor and has gained significant finance and operating experience across a broad range of industry sectors. Mr. Cole also developed extensive experience in business strategy and transformation, financial planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance business valuations, change management and development of financial feasibilities. He has managed and executed these services for over twenty-five (25) years, when he held senior positions at a “Big 4” accountancy firm and a leading financial services group in Jamaica. Paul currently conducts statutory financial audits of companies listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange. He also provides Management Consulting Services to companies listed on the said Stock Exchange. Paul has also worked on corporate and financial governance assignments for FIFA in the Caribbean. Paul tutored corporate finance, strategic management, management accounting and financial accounting on the MBA degree offered in Jamaica by the University of Manchester, UK. He also conducted a wide range of in-house finance related training at KPMG, Jamaica Institute of Financial Services and JN Bank as well as been a facilitator at strategic retreats for companies in Jamaica. Paul holds an MBA from the University of Manchester (UK). He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA, UK). He is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA, UK). He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (FCA, Jamaica) and also has Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. Paul holds a Certificate of Public Practice from the Public Accountancy Board in Jamaica. Paul is a member of the Board of Governors of United Way of Jamaica and immediate past Chairman of that organisation’s finance and administration committee.
